Room to breathe: a longitudinal review of respiratory data is a state of the nation review of care for people with asthma and COPD in hospital, and for people with COPD accessing pulmonary rehabilitation, between 2024-2025 in England and Wales. The report is compiled using data from services in England and Wales that participated in NRAP.

Wales primary care clinical audit report 23-25

This report presents results from analysis of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) primary care data in Wales from the Welsh primary care audit component of the National Respiratory Audit Programme (NRAP). Data were obtained from 371 general practices in Wales in August 2025 and captured activity between 1 August 2023 - 31 July 2025.

RCP workshop explores how doctors could be better supported to participate in patient care improvement

The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) has hosted a workshop at its Regent’s Park home in London to explore how doctors can be better supported to lead meaningful improvement in patient care. The event focused on reclaiming improvement as a core professional activity for doctors, one that is practical, achievable alongside clinical work, and firmly grounded in improving patients’ experience of care.
